Apco Appliance and Air on an oven repair call, in Claremont Ca., is working on a 30 plus year old electric oven. The upper oven bake element was not working at all. When the thermostat is turned on, the oven indicator light comes on, but the element it self does not get hot. The technician turned off the 220 voltage of power to the unit, and then removed the element to check the wiring go to it. The wire connection to the bake element turned out to be broken. This only needs to be rewire at the connection and this oven repair will be complete.
